Last night of Karaoke at The W Fort Lauderdale. Sad to say that the Whiskey Blue won't be holding anymore late night karaoke sessions, but lets just say it went out with a bang!

The Webster Miami Collection for Target

Fell in love today with The Webster Miami collection for Target. There were several pieces that I wanted, but I decided to go with this pink dress along with a bedtime romper. The romper is very soft and feminine, perfect for lounging around the house in front of my boyfriend, while trying to look effortlessly cute. I really want to go back and get some of the accessories and intimates.

I have to admit, I found out about The Webster Miami collection at Target by mistake. I had no idea that they were going to be collaborating. Pretty odd since I'm such a Webster fan. I immediately tweeted, “I had no idea that The Webster put out a Target collection. Time to check it out! @ShopTheWebster." Come to find out, as I talked to the lady in the dressing room department, the collection just launched today. Right place at the right time. Thumbs up! This explains why they actually had my size and it wasn't already picked through.

In love with my new Navoh handbag! Friday, I modeled for Navoh's fall look book (best photo shoot ever btw), and they were so cool that they gave the entire team a handbag after the shoot. Freakin raaaddd!!! I cant wait to post pictures from this shoot, their handbags are amazing!

On my way to jail! (to film, of course)

Lately I've been running on an average 4 hours of sleep and multiple coladas. (colada is a Cuban-style espresso with TONS of sugar) For the past three days I've been working 17 hour days doing hair and makeup for a new tv pilot for Univision called "El Rostro de la Ventana". I'm the only gringa (non-Latin person) on set, so I've been practicing my Español. It's quite humorous to say the least. I hope you enjoy my pics because I sure did enjoy making them.

Lighten Up!

Concealer? Check! Foundation? Check! Highlighter? Hmm...
Sorry ladies, but I have another staple to add to your makeup arsenal: a highlighter. I never thought it was necessary as long as you used a decent concealer until I tried Givenchy's Mister Light Instant Light Corrective Pen. Oh. My. Goodness. Amazing!!! Where do I even begin?!?!? Highlighters reflect light (help to diminish fine lines) and brighten (lighten up dark areas). The texture is a creamy decadence, and it stays that way. I applied it with my ring finger (I prefer to use my finger rather than use the applicator) under my eyes wherever I noticed any darkness. I also applied the highlighter around my mouth area where I have slight wrinkles. (emphasis on the word "slight")

Apply Mister Light after foundation and concealer. You may apply powder before or after---OR none at all. This product has little to no creasing! If it does happen to crease, use your finger to smooth it out. It also looks great on top of BB Cream and no powder if you're going for a minimal look.

There are many luxury highlighters out on the market. The leading one is YSL Touché Éclat. I recommend Givenchy Mister Light over YSL. Try it out. You'll immediately see why.

Although I never caught a glimpse of Mario Lopez at the Garnier Fructis party yesterday,  I was way too busy scoring all the free products I could get! Garnier has jumped on the eco-friendly trend, and they now have a new formula that is 94% biodegradable and comes in a bottle made of 50% recycled materials. I'm pretty attached to the hair products that I already use and love, but when there's a five hour open bar I can't help but think, "If its freeeee its for meeee!"

After reading Kristin's recent blog about having difficulties removing waterproof mascara, I had to follow it up with my favorite way to remove makeup. Pond's Cold Cream. This is one of the few products that I buy at the drugstore. (I'm a makeup snob.) I've been using it for as long as I've been wearing makeup, and I'm a true blue fan. It removes EVERY trace of makeup and leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh. Use a soft tissue or toilet paper and dip it into the cold cream. Gently rub it over your makeup to remove it. Repeat this process until no traces are left. I only use Pond's Cold Cream on my eyes and lips, but it may used all over the face if you'd like. Once my eye makeup and lip color is removed, I proceed to wash my entire face with my cleanser of choice. I highly recommend that you try it. It's inexpensive, and you're going to love it!
